Abstract (EN)
Connections of the steel constructions have an effective role at the determination of the safety and performance of steel structures. Examining the all components of a steel construction requires a long period of time because of the variety of the components as a result of geometric factors and constructive facts. Even some steel construction connection designs would not be gained by the methods of the classical literature.Although software examples that are performing structural analysis according to TS648 (Building code for steel structures in Turkey) are existent, extensive softwares that are proposing solutions about steel construction connections are not existent yet in Turkey. It?s possible to produce such softwares by modelling the steel construction connection solutions at the computer environment. For the fast, perfect and high performance gained solutions of steel construction components, such softwares should be used by the establishment of a database.Key Words: Steel constructions, Connections, Bolt, Weld
