From community to society, virtual reality, social networks

In this thesis, the relationships in society have been tried to be explained through the concepts of community, society, social networks, virtual community and cyberspace. In this context ,the social structuring of society and also human has been explained. The fact that man is a social being obliges him to live together with others. Because humans meet their material and spiritual needs with each other. This is only possible by being in various social structures. The social units in question are community and society. During the 18th century, the transition from an agricultural society to an industrial society led to the gradual replacement of the basic tools of the agricultural society by steam engines. With industrialization, social transformations emerged. Industrialization necessitated the development of new communication tools in line with increasing needs. The birth of the internet as a result of the rapid growth in the use of computer and mobile technology has led to the emergence of various living spaces for users in these communication channels. This situation has emerged as a result of the internet, computer, mobile technology and their usage area. In this regard, it is insufficient to explain the social structuring of the industrialization period with traditional concepts. In order to analyze the emerging society, we come across the concepts of social networks, virtual community, social media, social networking and virtual reality. At the point of social transformation, the concepts of community and society are intertwined. As a result of the internet playing an active role in our lives, the social community has moved itself to a virtual platform.
