Classifying of prefixes and suffixes in Adyghe language and comparison of meanings

The Circassian language is the Abkhazian-Adygean branch of the Northwest Caucasian Language Group of the Caucasian Language Family, which has no relation to the main language families. Circassian can be characterized as an agglutinative language and polysynthetic. Circassian receives prefixes, interfixes and suffixes to word stem. The main aim of this work is to examine and compare the existing prefixes and suffixes in the Circassian language. Prefixes and suffixes are morpheme affixes. They are evaluated among the methods of word formation and vocabulary development. In my study, the suffixes and the prefixed verbs which are classified and examined according to the word types, are considered as word formation method.. The data obtained in the study were collected by the method of document review. In the study, prefixes and suffixes encountered in word types such as noun, adjective, adverb, verb and numbers have been analyzed. These affixes are classified according to their productivity. The meanings and tasks of affixes were determined.
