Abstract (EN)
Due to the global issue of COVID-19, which has become a major concern worldwide in recent years, significant changes have occurred in our daily lives. One of the most important changes is the frequent use of surgical masks. For this reason, a thesis study has been initiated to research and improve the varieties of surgical masks. The study explores the materials required for surgical mask production, how masks are manufactured using these materials, and quality tests conducted on the manufactured masks. Additionally, consumer-oriented product improvements have been facilitated through surveys conducted on mask usage.
