Özet (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the reliability and validity of the Risk Assessment Scale for Surgical Position-Related Injuries. Materials and Methods: The methodological study was carried out with 207 patients who were operated at a university hospital. The scale developed by Moraes Lopes et al. (2016) was compared with five risk categories, including seven types of surgical position, duration of surgery, type of anesthesia, support surfaces, limb position during positioning, age of the patient, and presence of additional disease. The scale score ranged between 7-35 points. As the total score obtained from the scaleincreases, the position-related risk increases. Language validity, scope validity, criterion dependent validity, Braden Risk Assessment Scale and equivalent scale validity, summability analysis, item total score correlation, interobserver consistency and scale response bias tests were performed. Findings: The content validity index of the scale was found to be 0.961. In the study, whether the responses of the subjects to the scale items were equal or not was evaluated by Hotelling's T2 test (T²: 110,813, p = 0,000). Total score correlations of the items were found between 0,044-0,664.The use of a supporting surface during the procedure to test the validity of the procedure (t: 4,691, p: 0,000), the patient's table contact points on the operating table wet (z: -4,094, p: 0,000) and so on. criteria were used and the scale was found to have a high level of validity. Equivalent of the scale used to test the validity of the scale there was a negative correlation between the Braden Risk Assessment Scale (r = -0.419, p <0.001; r = -0.375; p <0.001 on the second day) Conclusion: The Turkish version of the Risk Assessment Scale for Injuries Due to Surgical Position was found to have sufficient validity and reliability. Key Words: Surgery, Position, Injury, Risk, Validity- reliability.
