Özet (EN)
The aim of this study is to analyse the regulations about investor protection, which has a significant place in all the financial system, in USA, EU, England, Germany, Japan and our in country Turkey. As a result of this investigation is to determine the status of the regulations on this subject in our country. The starting point of this study is ?investor? and financial markets. An investor is the person, who gave up from its current expenditures to obtain more income in the future. The relinquished expenses generates savings. Savings also turn into investment by means investment vehicles. investment is the most important source of the development of the country's economy. Investors, so important for country's economy, avoid to invest to the markets where they cannot rely on. In a country Investors, know they preserved against various risks in the markets, can increase the amount of investment. Thus, savings will contribute to the economic growth via the markets. Foreign countries have given more Importance than our country about the protection of investors. In our country, especially during the EU harmonization deficiency has been seen on this issue and various regulations have been started to made in the markets. This study focused on four subjects. The first one is analyzing the protection of investors in the financial markets in general. Regarding headlines of the investment and investor about our subject were analyzed. Second, the development of money, capital, gold and real estate markets in our country and regulations for the protection of investors were examined. Increasing the importance of international relations and the effect of the economic crisis have accelerated the regulations of investor protection in our country in recent years. However, shortcomings still to be seen. Thirdly the regulations in USA, EU, UK, Japan and Germany were investigated. Finally, the studies between our country and the countries which were examined in the third part are compared, and similarities, differences and shortcomings are described. Especially the most important issues for investors in these markets transparency, manipulation, supervision, risks of intermediaries and traning of investors were discovered. In our country, regulations of the investors protection related money, capital, gold and real estate markets are remarkable. Especially, the recent regulations in money and capital markets are quite approached to the level of foreign countries protection. And also to invest in international arena and for the protection setting houses and certificated gold coins in the gold market have been provided benefit to the investors. The lack of indirect investment especially in secondary market in real estate market is a major shortcoming. The comparisons have indicated that the regulation in our country has made very significant progress but still there have been imperfections.
