Abstract (EN)
This thesis, which requires a long research process and different research objects asserts to examine the panorama of the Turkish translated literature in the period of 1960-1980s. Literary translation activities, publishing politics, magazine activities that were highly prevalent then and translation works of the relevant twenty years of an ideological period have been examined in three-stages. Based on the argument that ideological political discourses lead to the translated literature, it is understood that transfer ideologies entered the country through translated literature because of the political instability and ideological fluctuations in the country. Publishing houses have played the most influential role in the entry of the political ideologies into the country, which are alleged to be transfers. And a distinct ideological division and dissent between publishing houses have taken place and thus translation publishing policies have taken shape in accordance with personal ideologies. It is possible to argue that publishing policies are able to manipulate quantitatively the ideological and comprehensive translated works entering the market. The magazines, which are the most important literary means of the day, have emerged to represent different ideological views. The "Hilal Dergisi" and "Yeni Dergi", which have emerged in two different ideological atmospheres and have been examined in the scope of this study, are important in terms of determining the translation publishing of the periodical magazine publishing activities. Upon examining the works of the translated literature belonging to the period of 1960-1980s one by one, it is possible to have an idea about the general translated literature of the relevant period, and to argue that ideologies are tried to be transferred and culturally integrated and that the politics of the country and political ideas and ideologies developing in this context have centralized the activities of translated literature and it is also possible to say that translation has become the means of expression of ideologies.
