The effect of environmental graphic design applications on space character and project proposal for OMÜ Science Faculty

Today, it is seen that visual communication design is open to a multi-disciplinary approach. The main purpose of visual communication is to enable the sending of simple and fast messages. Visual communication and architecture meet at a single point with the concept of space. Graphic design applications in the field of space design facilitate the perception and reading of interiors and play a role in conveying messages more quickly. Visual communication design also reveals new ones with its collaborations with different disciplines today. One of these areas is spatial design, which brings different disciplines together. Now that the problems related to the space have expanded the scope of architecture and graphic design as a discipline and included the space in the field of study, visual communication design plays an active role in the solution of communication problems related to the space. This study titled "The Effect of Orientation Designs on Space Character and Omü Faculty of Science and Letters Application Project Proposal" aims to express the purpose of an idea or message and inform it with graphic design products. In this study, the concept of space, which is the intersection of architecture and graphic design, is discussed and it is aimed to emphasise the function and benefits that the designs add to the space.
