Abstract (EN)
Due to the increase in intensive vehicle use in city centers, the intensity of continuous traffic vehicle use is increasing. The continuity of traffic in the city, the width, location and surface coating materials of the roads and urban intersection signaling systems are important factors affecting the noise values. Failure to comply with traffic rules, especially random stops of minibuses and minibuses, improper parking and excessive use of motorcycles and transportation vehicles are important factors that cause noise in traffic flow. Poor maintenance of internal roads in the city is also one of the factors that increase the noise caused by tire/road friction. In addition, uneducated drivers (frequent sudden braking and honking habits) also increase the noise level. For this reason, the noise level is known to increase continuously. Noise panels (barriers) can be used for highways inside and outside the city to minimize the noise impact on the public. In this study; a noise panel is designed and the idea of using end-of-life tires (ELT) as the basic material of the panels is discussed. In this way, it can be ensured that one billion end-of-life tires are not thrown away every year. It will be able to provide support within the scope of zero waste. A region was identified for noise comparison and noise data was recorded before and after the panel was installed. It was tried to show which points can be placed in the city. In addition, a modeling map was created with SURFER software, which is a modeling application using noise data in Konya. In this way, it was ensured that the normal propagation of the noise in the city and the estimated diffraction after the panel were more clearly recognized.
