Abstract (EN)
In this study, Aeromonas spp. were isolated from food and environmental samples for researching biofilm formation in distinct surfaces and adhesion levels of bacteria because of Aeromonas are potential surface colonizers in water distribution and food processing systems which have importance as a biofilm forming bacteria. For biofilm forming, beside microplate method which uses frequently, we used tube (adhesion on glass) and Congo Red Agar test. In microplate method, two diffirent media?s liquid (Triptic Soy Broth, TSB ve Brain Heart Infision Broth, BHIB) and solid (Triptic Soy Agar, TSA ve Brain Heart Infision Agar, BHIA) phase were used and when isolated bacteria was took from solid media, bacteria showed better biofilm formation than bacteria taken from liquid media. As culture media in biofilm formation, TSA and TSB are better media for Aeromonas biofilm formation capacity compare with BHIA and BHIB. Microplate method indicated that A. veronii biovar sobria is the first as a strong biofilm producer bacteria in all media while A. hydrophila is the second. Under same conditions no biofilm was observed on microplate surface for A. caviae. As a second method was tube test. A. veronii biovar sobria showed %61, 34 and A. hydrophila % 30,43 strong biofilm formation, while A. caviae showed %100 weak biofilm formation.
