Abstract (EN)
Due to globalization process, scarce resources of the world began to run out rapidly. Especially the developments in the technology and the widespread use of the technological products, have increased the damage to the environment. In this case, the impact of technological products on the environment began to be considered. The aim of this study is; to measure the effect of environmentally friendly technological product perception and the emphasize on environmental properties in advertising on the purchase intention. The study consists of three parts. In the first part, environmentally friendly technological product perception of consumers has been tried to be measured. In the second part, the dimensions related to environmental advertising were measured. Finally, the participants' statements on environmental purchasing intention are included. In this context, an online questionnaire was applied to 519 participants, who were selected by convenience sampling method, between February-March 2019. Collected data was analyzed in SPSS 22.0 program. The questionnaire was conducted in Istanbul and Sakarya. As a result of the study, it was observed that the environmentally friendly technological product awareness of the participants has affected the purchasing intention. Also, it was revealed that the information acquired by the participants through the product advertisements that emphasizes on environmental properties, has a positive effect on the environmental purchasing intention.
