The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of online homework on students academic achievements and attitude towards homework in elementary 4rd grade science course. Quasi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test control group was used in this researh. In two class there were 23 students in experimental group and 25 students in control group. "Attitude Towards Homework Scale" and "Academic Achievement Test" which had been developed by researcher were used as data collection tools. "Attitude Towards Homework Scale" and "Academic Achievement Test" were used as both pre-test and post-test. Gathered data from students were analysed by SPSS 20 software. In the process of data analysis, skewness-kurtosis statistics, independent-sample t test, paired-sample t test and ANCOVA were used. Although the study showed that there were no significant difference between online homeworks and traditional homeworks regarding to academic achievement, there were significant differences in favor of experimental group in terms of attitude towards homework. As a result of study, it is suggested that the homeworks prepared in digital environment using cloud technologies should be given more place in learning ecosystems and more use of educational technologies is needed to develop 21st century skills.
