Abstract (EN)

In criminal proceedings, the search for material truth is conducted in accordance with human rights. The advent of digitization has rendered it frequently imperative to employ digital evidence to ascertain material truth. Digital evidence, by virtue of its easily modifiable and alterable nature, requires technical and specialized knowledge for its procurement, preservation, and evaluation. The present study discusses the place of digital evidence among other types of evidence, methods of obtaining digital evidence, and the problems encountered; it aims to propose solutions in light of present legislation.
