Abstract (EN)

Belief in fate and human freedom has always influenced and directed people?s way of living, their aspects towards incidents and social events. How the reflection in the society is of the subject fate in scientific theology has also been important through practically as well as its theoretical information. People have a tendency to forget fate while living in a comfortable way; however, they remember it instantly right after they experience any negative incidents. In our society, people?s frame of minds have already accepted fate and negative incidents as synonymous concepts.The purpose of this study is to analyze the aspects towards incidents of prisoners in prison in terms of fate, who lives for a particular length of time under the observance of someone with partially restricted freedom depending on various reasons. The data obtained from this study were evaluated in terms of independent variables such as gender, age, marital status, educational status, socioeconomic status and religiosity status. The sample group of the research consists of 307 experimental subject in Ferizli L-Type Prison including 288 male and 19 female prisoners. The research is formed of two sections that are theoretical and empirical. In empirical section, survey technique was used and the data obtained were evaluated by availing the packaged software for statistics SPSS for WINDOWS 17.0.From the results obtained, prisoners in prison had a sense of fate but rather than a fatalistic discernment they had a discernment featuring their slight will. In this sense, it was understood that they accepted one?s responsibility for the acts of her/his.Key Words: God, Sense of fate, One?s responsibility, Scientific Theology, Ferizli L-Type Prison
