Özet (EN)
Within the scope of this study, the effects of the opening location on the punching behavior of the two-way reinforced concrete slabs are examined. In this experimental study, one of the four experimental element on which the location of openings change including one without spaces, has been tested with a total of five test elements. Two-way concrete square slabs having the dimensions of 2000x2000x120 mm are tested under the effect of the punching shear load which is applied from the dimension of 200x200 mm column loaded. Experiment elements having 300x300 mm dimension of opening is located adjacent to column and 300 mm far from the column together with taking place across to and parallel to column. The effects of variation in the location of openings on the punching shear performance of two-way reinforced slabs are interpreted by examining the slabs? bearing capacities, rigidities and energy consumption capacities which are obtained as a result of the tests of experiment elements. The bearing capacity of experiment elements are compared with the experimental results which are calculated with the regulations of ACI 318, Eurocode 2 and TS 500. In addition, it is determined to what extent the regulation equations are being calculated the bearing capacity of the experiment elements. Experimental results indicate how the punching resistance is affected by varying location of openings. It is observed that punching resistance is much more reduced when the location of the opening is adjacent and parallel with respect to the column when compared to the ones that the hole is far and cross to the column, respectively.
