Abstract (EN)

The scope of this study is, strengthen of double curvatured reinforced columnby the method of jacketing of columns with carbon fiber mat. Carbon FiberReinforced Plastic-CFRP is used for strengthen of reinforced columns. Threetest element produced in the laboratory. The first is the reference element thatis unstrengthened. The other elements are strengthened with carbon fiber bythe method of straight and cross jacketing at the point of column beamintersection. Then all elements are tested and elements that are jacketed withcarbon fiber are unjacketed and repaired with repairing mortar. Repairedelements are jacketed with carbon fiber and tested again. According to testresults, maximum load capacity, energy consumption, rigidity change andductility properties of the elements are analyzed and behavior and strength ofthe elements are researched. Performed strengthen study with carbon fiberjacketing and repairing at the column-beam intersection resulted unsuccessful.
