Abstract (EN)

In this study, antifungal activities of 11 different plant parts methanol extracts (leaf, fruit, aerial part) obtained from 5 different plant (Prunus laurocerasus L., Quercus aucheri L., Sideritis taurica L., Morus alba L., Salix babylonica L., Prunus laurocerasus L.) against strawberry root pathogens (Rhizoctonia solani Kühn, Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid and Cylindrocarpon destructans, Gerlach & L. Nilsson) were tested in vivo and in vitro conditions. Agar plate method was used in antifungal activity study in vitro conditions. In vivo pathogenicity studies were conducted on strawberry stolons. The inhibition of mycelium growth and the effects on mycelium growth rates were evaluated for each plant extract. Plant extracts were applied in 1, 2.5, 5, 10 and 20 mg/ml concentrations. The effects were observed in all concentrations. Antifungal activity increase with increase in extracts concentrations. With some of the extracts concentrations complete mycelial growth inhibition were achieved in vivo and in vitro. C. destructans was found most susceptible to extracts following M. phaseloina and R.solani.
