Abstract (EN)
`?Wage Management?? is a vital function of Human Resources Management, can be defined as a process of developing strategies, policies and systems and putting them into application to help the company to reach the goals and to enhance the motivation and effort of employees who are still in the company or will be employed in the near future.As well as having an effect on the costs and the performance of the company and it?s employees, wage management is also a part of human resources management and is thought to effect the labour turnover.In this study, it was theoretically tried to study wage, wage management, wage structure and wage systems and taking into account the capital structure of cement sector, which is one of the leading sectors of our country. Wage management practices were analysed comparatively. In the survey, % 80 of the Turkish Cement Sector?s plant and the white-collar workers that were stil employed were covered, and plant?s wage management applications were analyzed.In the result of the study, it was observed that the instruments such as the job evaluation from the tools of wage management, the performance evaluation and the utilization of salary surveys were not very common in practice in sector effective on its turnover although they were in very low levels in the business used and especially the application of performance was taken into account in employees when preferring the company.The delicate and objective common use of the pre-mentioned instruments of wage management will decrease the labour turn over among the white collar employees in sector and will show a decreasing effect of the costs of the qualified work force leaves from the company.
