Abstract (EN)

Activated carbon comes at the top of the adsorbents, which are the most widely used for the control of pollution in waste water. They're harmless to human health. Thanks to their high porosity, they adsorb well. Therefore, they are very suitable for dye removal. Features such as zinc oxide in the nanostructure, wide transmission band, chemical and thermal stability, high sensitivity to various gases and high binding energy increase the use of zinc oxide nanoparticles. Many different methods have been developed fort he production of nanoparticles, which constitutethe starting point of nanotechnological materials. In this study, it was aimed to remove zinc oxide acorn activatedcarbon from methylene blue aqueous solution by adsorption technique. The effects of different parameters in the range of 25-150 mg/L , temperature 298 K, 308 K, 318 K, duration 5-180 min, quantity, pH 3-10 were investigated. Accordingly, thr adsorption thermodynamics of the zinchydroxide coatex activated carbon used was investigated and its compliance with the adsorption kinetics equations was determined.
