Abstract (EN)
In this study, batch studies were performed to determine the effects of the most important parameters as pH, contact time, adsorbent amount and initial zinc concentration on zinc removal. Equilibrium isotherms of batch system were also analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, BET and Dubinin Redushkevich isotherm models. Acid activation of bentonite effect on adsorption was also investigated according to theoretical information in literature. Raw bentonite and 2 different acid which are nitric acid and sulphuric acid activated bentonites effects on adsorption capasity were compared.
