Abstract (EN)
In alternative treatments in the world, vegetable extracts are known to be used for therapeutic purposes in many diseases. The fact that our country has different climatic and ecological conditions, Flora contains many plant species and diversity and therefore there are many plant species consumed for medical purposes in our country. Most of these plants have antimicrobial effects, and they have been determined both in Turkey and abroad, and they are still working on them. Studies on lemon have shown that the antioxidant capacity of lemon is very high. The shell is intense during work on volatile oil. In addition to the biological activity of the endocarp, skin and leaf parts of the lemon juice, it is also important to determine the DNA protective activity. For these purposes, the extracts of Lemon endocarp, skin and leaf were extracted with various solvents (Water, Methanol, Hexane, Dichloromethane) and the extracts obtained after wards were prepared for biological activity analysis. The same extracts were then prepared and made available for another study, DNA-protective activity determination assays As a result of the study, it was determined that the water extract from the lemon leaf and the tiller extract had the antibacterial effect on the Stenotrophomonas maltophilia bacteria. The antioxidant capacity determination study showed that the best antioxidant effect was found in the methanol extract of the lemon endocarp. As a result of DNA protective activity analysis, it was determined that all extracts had DNA protective effect.
