Maraş was important region in the history of Antiquity. "Mama's king Anum - Hirbi's letter to Kaniş' s King Warsama" is to be considered as the first international diplomatic and legal correspondence on the World. This letter is occupying most important a place in this study. In this study under headline "Maraş Region in inscribed Documents" consisting of two sections, importance of Maraş in the history process are tried to be ser forth. In the first section; Maraş region in second thousand B. C. are to be explained and political legal commercial activities of Maraş are handled. In this section consisting of two parts; Maraş region in the Assyrian Commerce Colonies Period, Maraş region in the Hittites Period are examined. The second section under the headline "Maraş Region in the First Thousand B. C." consisting of six parts; the Hittites City-States Period, the New Assyrian Period, the Medes Period," the Persians Period, the Macedonians Period are handled.
