Abstract (EN)
In this study, Masashi Kishimoto's "Naruto" comic book series, which is very popular in the world and has been translated into Turkish in recent years, has been examined. The data obtained in this qualitative study were collected through document analysis and analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Within the scope of the study, the first three volumes of the "Naruto" comic and the twenty-seven chapters within these volumes are discussed. The works were examined in terms of processing the root values of justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism and benevolence in the 2019 Turkish Curriculum. Within the scope of the study, 79 findings related to these values were determined. In the light of the data obtained, it was concluded that the most common values in the works were honesty and self-control, followed by the values of benevolence, responsibility, respect, friendship, patriotism, patience and love, and the value of justice was not included in the examined parts of the volumes. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that the works are insufficient in terms of value transfer. Keywords:Turkish education, comics, Naruto, values education
