Abstract (EN)

In recent years, besides improvement of semiconductors technologies, given importance to energy efficiency is increasing rapidly. Usage of the LED in many areas is quite popular. Especially in illumination LED are preferred widely because of their long life time, low energy consumption and environment friendly. To use LEDs more efficiency driver circuit is quite substantial, thus many kinds of driver circuit designed. In this study a current fed, parallel resonant LED driver circuit with %50 dimming, design is proposed. By the means of the designed circuit LEDs can be operated more efficiency and stable. Circuit input current is more constant and includes fewer harmonics because of the current fed technique. There is a coupled inductor in the resonant tank of circuit, with this coupled inductor electrical isolation ensured between power stage and the load. Switching control signals are ensured for MOSFET gate by a gate driver IC. By the means of the controlled inductor to connect out of the circuit, output power can be dimmed about %50. Thus, in 22.5 kHz switching frequency and 33 W output power, a low cost, more stable, simple structured and dimmable LED driver circuit is designed.
