A review of the books of children's literature writer Sara Şahinkanat within the scope of values education

In this research, children's books for preschool, written by Sara Şahinkanat, were examined within the scope of values education. The study was carried out using the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Eight books suitable for preschool children were analyzed by document analysis method. The children's books to be examined during this study have been carefully read several times from beginning to end. Abstracts have been written briefly introducing the book. The values of the writings and pictures in each children's book were determined. In addition, the skills and concepts found in the articles are specified in the study. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that Sara Şahinkanat's books can qualitatively transfer value for preschool children.
