Caring staff working in the field of child welfare provide child care services. Since the care services include feelings such as benevolence, empathy, self-sacrifice, the staff may experience stress. This condition can affect the level of burnout and life satisfaction. In the study, the relationship between the burnout level and life satisfaction of dec staff working in children's homes was examined. The universe of this research is 170 employees working at the Adana Children's Homes Site and the Children's Homes Coordination Center Directorates. A total of 144 employees who agreed to participate in the study and filled out the scales completely constitute the sample of the study. Personal Information Form, Burnout Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale were used to collect data. In the study, a descriptive model was used to reveal the existing conditions of the care staff working in children's homes. As a result of the analyzes, a significant relationship was found between the level of burnout and life satisfaction in the opposite direction dec. As a result of the analyzes, it was seen that burnout and life satisfaction did not differ according to marital status, child status, education level and duration of experience, but differed significantly according to the type of institution. A significant inverse relationship was found between age, burnout and life satisfaction.
