Özet (EN)

ABSTRACT Objective: The aim of this research is to adapt the Children's Knowledge of Abuse Questionnaire (CKAQ) to Turkish and to determine their reliability and validity. Method: This methodological type of research was conducted on 367 children attending the 4th grade of Antalya's 3 primary schools. As a data collection tool; 'childrens' identification form' and the children's 'Abuse Information Scale' form were used. For the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the study, SAS 9.4 package program was used and number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, content calidity index, T test, KR 20 internal reliability coefficiency and Rasch analysis were performed. Permissions were optained from the developer of the scale, the Akdeniz University Medical faculty of clinical studies ethics committee, Antalya Province National Education Management as well as written permissions from the parents of the children. Results: The adaptation and translation process procedure of the scale recommended by WHO were used in the scale's valid language. 10 experts were interviewed for the scope of coverage and it was determined that the experts were in association on subjects related to the scale items. It was found that there was a significant difference between the lower and upper group means in the evaluation of the scale's internal ranking criteria (t=-33.27, p0.05) and the validity of the internal scale was determined. It was also found that the overall internal safety factor of KR 20 was 0.69. As a result of the Rasch analysis on the scale, in terms of the items' most difficult values. When both the external and external index values were examined, it was found that the data were suitable for the Rasch model for both indexes. Conclusion: It has been determined that CKAQ is high and the reliability is at medium-level as a tool. This can be used by health personnel, social workers and teachers who work with children. In future research, the items that children find diffult to answer can be reconsidered and the validity and reliablity of the scale may be investigated for the different age groups of the children.
