Abstract (EN)

The aim of this article is to determine the stategies for act of request when children ask for something from someone. The act of request is one of the language structure that frequently used by children. The yare supposed to use the language structure properly in terms of their social structure and context of requirement in their development of communication skill. İt is a significant point that within the pragmatics scope reachs a level like use adults usages. Qualitative research details on survey model which is done to observe this development on children is collected by a Discourse Completion Task (DCT). There ara some various so communicative situations in this task which includes 12 heads. These situations vary in terms of their power relations, qualification of the place and difficulty degree of what you ask for. Same topics are also adapted for adults and consulted for opinions of experts within this period. 145 children, 5-6 years and 71 adults takes part in this research. The reason why adults take part in this research is to form basis for intepreting children's choice and determining the Turkish equivalent of the request choosen related the context. The responses given by participants are evaluated and determined which strategies can be selected. Dates are analyzed in statistics program, percatige ande frequency calculations are done. According to the results, adults responded to language-specific suggestion statements strategies in ten items throughout the test, while children responded to all items of the test using the preparatory conditions strategy. The decomposition appeared more often in the second and subsequent referenced. Based on the findings of the study, studies have been proposed to improve the performant skills of children.
