Isolation and identification of Candida species from salivary and to evaluate relation between prevelans of Candida species and caries status i̇n children

In this study, the typing of Candida Albicans and Non-Candida Albicans species found in saliva in children between the ages of 6 and 11 and their relation to caries and their prevalence were evaluated. divided into the group. 2ml saliva samples were collected with a Pasteur pipette from the identified patients when they were fasting for two hours between 10:00 and 12:00 in the morning. The collected saliva samples were prepared for the DNA sequence analysis method and the fungus samples obtained from both groups were typed. As a result, it was found that Candida Albicans is the most common Candida species isolated from the saliva of children with carious lesions and it is important to analyze the genetic variability of the clinical isolates of these species and to evaluate the possible genotype associations of this fungus.
