Özet (EN)
Aim and Background: Cardiovascular sistem (CVS) complications are the most important causes of mortality and morbidity in children with chronic kidney disease. Renalase is a monoamin oxidase which is released from the kidney and degrades circulating catecholamines. Renalase levels are regulated by renal function, amount of catecholamine and renal perfusion. The aim of this study was to determine the risk factors for CVS complications in children with stage 3-5 chronic kidney disease (CKD) and evaluate the relationship between these risk factors and renalase. Method: Healthy children (n: 50) and children diagnosed with CKD (n: 108) (Keyword: Böbrek hastalıkları = Kidney diseases ; Böbrek yetmezliği-kronik = Kidney failure-chronic ; Kardiyovasküler hastalıklar = Cardiovascular diseases ; Renalaz = Renalase ; Risk faktörleri = Risk factors ; Çocuk hastalıkları = Child diseases ; Çocuklar = Children
