Abstract (EN)
It is important forest fire first responders reach as soon as possible to the fire zone. Network analysis method is the most widely used method to finde the shortest route. To provide convenient transportation route, a GIS-based network analysis was attempted. This method is applied in the regions of Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry; Gürsu forest management units which depend on Kas Management Directorate and some other close range regions such as Gömbe, Kalkan, Kaş, Kasaba, Lengüme, Sütleğen Forest Management Units which depend on Kaş Management Directorate; Çığlıkara and Tekke forest management units which depend on Elmalı Management Directorate; Finike, Demre, Pınarcık and Yeşilbağ Forest Management Units which depend on Finike Management Directorate. This method was applied for 30 different potentialy fire area, considering the existing 13 separate fire first responders. Having 1 280,54 km asphalt, 184,09 km stabilized and 2 671,20 km dirt road in the study area, 16 831,40 ha. area in 20 min. 20 565,40 ha in 30 min. and 20 565,40 ha in 40 min. have been reached. Accordingly the critical response time and fire with 1st Degree sensitive forest areas in order to protect the position of the fire first responders is recommended to be replaced or the addition of new. Response times for critical road situations in areas previously inaccessible revised, and new ways of improving their condition of planning of the road network is considered to be helpful to solve the problem. With the help of Network analysis, in case of fire, transportation to the point of fire can be planned quickly also transportation planning scenarios can be created prior to the fire.
