Özet (EN)
The research, which aims the effectiveness on student success at effectiveuse of graphics at geography in middle school. The model of the research is made on the 11th class students at Ankara highSchool at which is located in Altındağ/Ankara. Equivalence is supported for thechoice of sampling groupps. This research tries to answer ?is effective use ofgraphics are more useful for geography education?. For this urpose some experimentgroups are introduced graphics that are prepared according to the students level, purpose and the subject. On the other hand a simple teaching method (from thebook) is used for the other experiment group. And the difference at learning levelbetween two experiments group are observed.A test is made for both experiment groups before and after the experimentalstudy. The arithmetic mean and the standard deviation is calculated for the testresults. The effects of the experimental results, to understand whether there is adifference between the mean of the difference between the first and last test of thetwo experiment groups, a 0,05 meaning level t-test is realized. When we analyze thedata we conclude that; The effective and appropriate use of graphics, applied on experiment groupsat experimental study, applied on an experimental and control group aboutpopulation education in Turkiye is more effective at student success at geographyEducation.
