Abstract (EN)
The limited amount of water resources, usage of water by different sectors and increasing demands to water by time necessitates the water resources to be regulated by reservoirs. The size of a reservoir is determined by the reservoir operation studies. A reservoir operation study which maximizes benefits for specific purpose of a project can effect negatively the other benefits which can be obtained from other projects of the same basin. In this case, it can be possible to determine of priorities by evaluating effects of projects comparatively by establishing a simulation model in a whole basin. In the thesis, Ceyhan basin is selected as case study and a reservoir operation simulation model is established in this basin with 14 dams of upstream of Aslantaş dam by using HEC-5 simulation program. In this model, it is aimed that to evaluate the effects of projects with each other and determination of capacities of domestic water supply, irrigation water supply and energy production of Aslantaş dam in full development of the projects in the basin.
