Abstract (EN)
Health is not only physical, but also emotional and social goodness. Hospitals are health facilities where these well-being are lost or crippled. The fact that both the service group and the group providing the services are under intense stress makes this area very risky. these risks put pressure on the health worker. The motivation and performance of health care workers exposed to intense stress are negatively affected. Employees can get support from the medical social service unit to solve their psychological, sociological and economic problems. The social work practices carried out by the social worker for the employees in the institution where they work are called occupational social work. Occupational social workers have many roles. He uses the theories and methods of social work in fulfilling these roles. One of the methods that can be used in occupational social work is the psycho-education group works. In this study, the effect of social work intervention performed by multidimensional psycho-education group study on the work stress, stress perceptions and work motivations of the hospital staff was investigated. Between the dates of November 14, 2017 - 30 April 2018, two groups of 15 employees were formed from the personnel working in Üsküdar State Hospital, İstanbul. , the groups were included in the 6-session psycho-training program, each of which was 90 minutes. In addition to the socio-demographic information form, Work Stress Scale, Perceived Stress Scale and Multidimensional Business Motivation Scale were applied to 30 participants in total. The data obtained were analyzed and interpreted by SPSS techniques. As a result of the findings; It was observed that there was a significant difference between the employees' perceptions of stress and their gender before the training but this difference disappeared after the training. There was a significant difference between gender and multidimensional work motivation before education. There was no significant difference between pre-education multidimensional work motivation and age but there was a significant difference after education. As a result; It was determined that the trainings have positive effects on Job Stress, Perceived Stress and Multidimensional Work Motivation scores of health workers. Psycho-education has been shown to be beneficial in decreasing work stress and stress perception and increasing motivation. There was a significant difference between the work stress and the study year after the training.
