Abstract (EN)
The terms of occupational safety and surveillance of workplace is in the world agenda since Hammurabi laws and evolving in accordance with today's work conditions. Hazards and risks identified through the workplace surveillance, which is a must for risk analysis, eases preventing work accidents. Predicting the hazards, near miss events and accidents with a perspective of proactive approach in the most hazardous jobs is less costly and life-saving rather than that occurs with a reactive approach. In this study, checklists were prepared for some most hazardous sectors to predict hazards, risks and accidents before them occurred. By observing hazards and risks, a common risk assessment analysis was made for identified risks to develop an appropriate surveillance methodology for the working environment of certain sectors classified as the most hazardous industries.
