Özet (EN)
ADM is an allograft of human dermis that has been widely used as a substitute for autogenous grafts in mucogingival surgeries. According to results of the different studies, PRP can provide positive contributions to the wound healing and treatment of the root coverage. The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical results provided with the use of PRP/ADM combination and the compare the effectiveness of PRP/ADM combination with ADM alone in the treatment of multiple gingival recessions. Twelve patients with multiple Miller I/II recessions are included. Clinical parameters were recorded at baseline and at 3., 6., 9., 12. months. The root coverage and attachment gain were calculated. Clinical parameters, clinical attachment level, keratinized tissue width and root coverage were improved for both groups. However, there were no statistically significant differences between groups. The amount of root coverage % 74.3 for ADM, % 79.9 for ADM/TZP at 6th month; % 66.7 for ADM, %73.9 for ADM/TZP at 12th month. The clinical attachment level demonstrated a mean gain of 3.0 mm and 3.2 mm for the positive control and test groups after 6 months, 2.7 mm, 3.2 mm for the positive control and test groups after 12 months, respectively. The treatment of multiple gingival recessions with both of these methods may result satisfactory root coverage. In conclusion, there were no statistically significant differences between the groups.Key Words: multiple gingival recessions, ADM, PRP
