Abstract (EN)
This research has been prepared to measure if the Method of Multi Field Art Education (MMFAE) creates a meaningful difference in the attitude and the performance of the 3rd Grade students on the subject of Colours which have been delivered with lesson plans conducted according to MMFAE and MMFAE supported by the Multiple Intelligence Theory (MIT).In the direction of this research; the control and research group, that have been supported with MMFAE and MMFAE based on MIT, took 2 hours of practice lessons after 4 hours of theoretical lessons. The applications have been planned as the reproduction of the art piece called ?Music? by Henry Matisse and it was conducted as of group work of 5 students each. The color of Attitude Scale is applied by the researcher for evaluating of the applications. The marks that the students received were analysed using the SPSS 17 Statistical programme. The data was analysed using statistical methods such as numbers, percentages, average, standard deviation. As hypothesis tests the non-parametric Mann Whitney U test has been used.As the result of statistical analysis; it has been concluded that there are positive differentiations on the statistical scale of the subject colours, in favour the research group as to the control group. When the art products, conducted by the students, were examined it is also seen that the research group have shown a better performance than the control group. In other words when the MMFAE is supported with MIT there are positive outcomes on the students attitude and performance.Key Words: Teaching art, MMFAE, MIT
