Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, we have concentrated on quadric-line arrangements. First we are interestedwith the combinatorics of line arrangements and also quadric arrangements. Next, wehave studied the branched coverings of complex projective plane and two dimensionalorbifolds. In addition to this, we have explicitly exhibited the covering relations amongorbifold germs, observed by Yoshida. Finally, by using orbifold Chern numbers we havediscovered new orbifolds uniformized by two dimensional complex ball and studied thecovering relations among them.
