This study is based on the concepts of interculturality and intercultural communication that suggest the ideas of ?living with differences? and seeing the other?s difference as a source of enrichment. This study aims in this context to analyze data gathered in a field-work carried out in Mardin which is considered as a pluricultural city of Turkey . In this thesis we have tried to discover the anthropological aspects of intercultural communication between two religious communities, Christian community ( assyrians ) and the Muslim community, who have been living together for many centuries. These aspects will be helpful in understanding all forms of acculturation and cultural hybridities that appear in two cultures.
