Comparison of some biochemical parameters in patients with renal failure in Salahaddin

80 patients, who were surveyed, were reported to have chronic renal failure in the teaching hospital and other hospitals in Tikrit city. Experimental work was carried out in private laboratories in Tikrit, Iraq. Also, 30 healthy patients as a control group, where the volunteers are divided as follows: Group I: 30 healthy individuals without disease. The second group: 40 patients who underwent dialysis once. The third group: 40 patients who underwent dialysis for the second time. The results of this study showed that the percentage of healthy people in the current study was 30 (27.3%), while the number of patients with renal failure was 75 (68.2%), while other stages of kidney disease were reported, and the third stage included 1 (0.9%) patients while. Phase IV included 4 (3.6%) patients. The present results also showed a significant (P < 0.05) increase in renal function (urea and creatinine) in patients with chronic kidney disease. Calcium levels showed a significant (p < 0.05) decrease in patients with HD and HD compared to the control group. Sodium levels showed a significant (P < 0.05) decrease in patients without HD (and with HD compared to the control group. Potassium levels showed a significant (P < 0.05) decrease in patients without HD and with HD compared to the control group. IL-6 levels showed Significant decrease (p < 0.05) in patients without HD and HD compared to the control group.
