Aristoteles'ten Kuzali Nikolas'a sonsuzluk anlayışı

The subject of this thesis is the concept of infinite, in particular, the actual infinite. The principal motivation of this research is to understand and explicate how the Aristotelian concept of infinite as a being in potentiality but never in actuality and to which imperfection is attributed could become both perfection and a being in actuality. In this respect, we begin with the Aristotelian analyze of infinite and his conception of privative infinite. Then, we continue by Thomas Aquinas who supports a negative infinite which is true to divine being. After that, we treat Duns Scotus for whom the God is infinite in an intensive manner. And finally, we investigate Nicholas Cusanus who elaborates the actual infinite in a definitive manner.
