Özet (EN)

In this thesis, power-religion and society relation around the power struggle phenomenon is discussed by touching on the change of the meaning of power phenomenon and also its historical and sociological background. Thus, it is focused on the Theo-strategical and Theo-sociological side, especially related to religion and sociology, in terms of the sociological intervention of power struggle. In this way it is aimed to interpret the religion, which is an important element of power struggle, by a strategic look within its connection from daily life to economy, politics, International relations and history. In accordance with an interdisciplinary approach, sufficient amount of source is scanned, explained and analyzed by using document analysis method. Attention has been drawn to Theo-strategies of Islamic societies carried especially through the Salafi mentality based organizations. Also it has been benefited from absence of center thought of problem deconstruction approach. Apart from the psychological motivation provided to believers, it has been revealed that religion could be used as a means of Theo-strategical and sociological intervention on power struggles. Once again, it has been stressed that it is the most important implementation area of the natural features of human being such as describing, naming and explicating features to show how the actuality could change from past to present on the power struggle and how the terms were misused.
