Özet (EN)
Turkey and Iran, the two largest and most powerful non-Arap countries in the Middle East, have a very deep-rooted history of relations. But more importantly, the relations between the two countries, where competition and cooperation coexist, have largely remained within the same framework and have been shaped around the same issues since the establishment of the two countries and even the Ottoman and Safavid/Qajar periods. While Turkey and Iran have always cooperated on some issues, they have always been in competition and conflict in others. In this context, this study will try to reveal how the stability and continuity and the balance between cooperation and competition/conflict are formed in Turkey-Iran relations. Accordingly, this study will try to reveal some regularities and patterns in Turkey-Iran relations by examining the relations between the two countries under certain headings.
