Özet (EN)

At the end of 2019 on December, first ncorona-virus-2 infection has reported in china, Wuhan, then speared into the worldwide until it was classified a pandemic in 2020 by (WHO). SARS-Co-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19. The current study focused on factors that may be influence the progression of the disease. NAD+ is the coenzyme of the reactions and its playing a key role as a sub-strate for several enzymes, like as SIRTs, mono and poly ADP-ribose, and CD-38. The current study involved 80 patients with SARS-Co-2 and 30 of healthy control (20-70) years old. The results showed an increase in CD38, C-reactive protein, D-Dimer and MDA levels compared to the healthy group (P≤0.05), while showed a decrease in SIRT1, vitD concentrations and catalase activity compared with the healthy group (P≤0.05). Results suggests that increased levels in CRP and D-Dimer in patients with Covid-2 may be linked with the progress of the infection and it may be a useful indicator of the exacerbation of the disease. As for high CD38 concentrations in Covid-2, might be involved in the decrease NAD+ and SIRT1 levels, and might be involved in the decrease of vitD. This association could make them a beneficial therapeutic targets in preventing the disease progression. The change in CAT activity and MDA, concentrations of NAD+ and vitD might cause unbalance oxidant/antioxidant in Covid-19
