Abstract (EN)
In this study, ethanol extracts and 5% infusion of Corchorus olitorius L. (malvaceae) collected from the cultivated field in Bursa Görükle District and corn-origin Corchorus olitorius L plants purchased from the market in Jordan were examined phytochemically. Total phenolic substance quantification, antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of the extracts were determined. Antioxidant activity was tested on DPPH• and ABTS•+ radical scavenging effect. Antimicrobial activity tests were performed using a different strain of fungus and bacteria. Phytochemical content of ethanol extracts were examined by High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry. Quinic acid, protocatechuic acid, protocatechulic acid hexoside, Caffeic acid 3-Caffeoylquinic acid, 5-Caffeoylquinic acid, 1,3-Dicaffeoylquinic acid, 3,4-Dicaffeoylquinic ide, Astragallin, Quercetin have been identified tentatively (without standard) in extracts. Keywords: Extract, Activity, LC-MS/MS
