Abstract (EN)

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a disease of great importance. The extent of its impact is reflected in its high prevalence and high mortality rates. Our study aims to evaluate the origin of vitamin D deficiency in patients with kidney disease, the proportion of vitamin D supplementation following the recommendations, and its effect on several serum parameters (phosphorus balance, parathyroid hormone, 25 (OH) D). 1, 25 (OH) D. The study also included an antioxidant enzyme identification system that measures Superoxide dismutase enzyme (SOD) activity and a non-enzymatic antioxidant system. it was observed that 79.59% of patients had vitamin D concentrations lower than optimal, patients who received vitamin D3 incorrectly had a phosphate level of about 20% and those who received insufficient vitamin D3 had a significantly lower concentration of 25 (OH) D than those who received sufficient vitamin D3. We observed a slight increase in parathyroid hormone in 12 patients. Significant differences were found between the control group and pre-diagnosis in the case of oxidative stress. CKD is thought to be a sign of decreased activity of the antioxidant enzymes SOD and catalase (CAT), as well as decreased vitamin D3.
