Volume covers of some manuscripts in Çorum Hasan Pasha Provincial Public Library

In our thesis titled "The Covers of Some Manuscripts in the Çorum Hasan Pasha Provincial Public Library", 116 volume covers were examined with scientific methods. The catalog prepared for each work, which includes the inventory number, name, author, number of leaves, number of lines, dimensions, date of writing, date of copying, type of writing, language, binding material, colors used in binding decoration, decoration, paper type, subjects of each work examined. It was examined in detail according to the receipt. Photographs and drawings of each volume have been brought side by side and added to the catalog section. In the introduction part of the first part of the thesis, which consists of three parts; What is the definition of the subject, its purpose and importance, the method and limitation of the study, publications on the subject, the history of Çorum, the history of the library, the life and manuscript of Hasan Pasha? It is discussed with its titles. In the second chapter, the definition of bookbinding art, the history of bookbinding art, the materials used in bookbinding art, bookbinders and their organization, bookbinding art and styles, the sections that make up the book binding, binding types, decorations used in bookbinding art, production and techniques used in bookbinding art are discussed. In the third section, catalog information and photographs of the selected works are included. According to the catalog voucher prepared in the third section, the 116 volume covers we included in our topic were evaluated in detail after being examined in detail. The findings and data obtained were compiled in the conclusion section, and our thesis ended with the bibliography and appendices.
