Determination and evaluation of lip print differences of female and male individuals residing in Çorum province

This research aims to classify the lip prints of male and female individuals living in Çorum Province and to examine gender differences. The research was carried out in the screening model. In order to obtain lip prints, colored, matte and non-permanent lip paint was used in the collection of data. As a result of the research; it was determined that the most common lip type in men and women was TIPI(A). On the other hand, the second highest was again TIPII(C) in both groups. Another result was that the TIPIV(E) lip type was found to be the lowest. In the examination according to gender; no statistically significant difference was found in lip types. In this case, although the lip type of women is larger than the lip type of men in TypeI(A), Type I(B), TypeIII(D) and TypeIV(E) lip types, there is no statistically significant difference. In addition, although the lip type of men is larger than the lip type of women in TypeII(C) and TypeV(F) lip types, there is no statistically significant difference. In the examination according to age, there was only a difference according to the age variable of the parameter TypeI(A). Accordingly, the TypeI(A) lip print forms of the 20 and under and 21-30 age groups were higher than the participants aged 61 and over. In addition, the TypeI(A) lip print forms of the 51-60 age groups were higher than the 41-50 age groups and 61 and over age groups.
