Abstract (EN)

In this research, the vocal performance characteristics of Çorum region were tried to be analyzed with the sample of Âşık Şekip Şahadoğru. Analyzing the technical details of Şekip Şahadoğru's vocal performance features provides important clues and examples in terms of development in both performance and musical education. In the introduction part of our study, which we analyzed in three chapters, the tradition and concept of minstrelsy, Çorum music culture and the minstrels from Çorum who have grown up in this culture from past to present, the concepts of mouth, dagger, style and attitude in general terms, as well as the problem situation, purpose, importance, methods used and limitations of our study were expressed. In the second part, the place, development, transmission and interaction of minstrelsy tradition in Çorum and Şekip Şahadoğru and the mystical aspect of Şahadoğru were analyzed. The genre, form and subject of his poems and his works such as records, cassettes, books, videos and interviews are included. The third section includes the characteristics of Şahadoğru's vocal performance. In this context, the technical features of Şahadoğru's vocal performance were examined and detailed analyzes were made on the sections taken from the transcribed notes. In the conclusion part of our study, the conclusions drawn from the whole research are given and it is shaped on the aim of determining the resources available in Çorum province in general and Şahadoğru in particular with a correct perspective and revealing the data obtained with various analysis methods. In the appendices section, the words used by Şahadoğru according to the way of saying in Çorum region and their meanings are given.
