Abstract (EN)
The Covid pandemic has impacted many aspects of life and mental health. Studies have shown negative emotional symptoms along with anxiety, fear, thoughts, and information about the covid pandemic. Faced with uncertainty about what will happen next, they may exhibit negative cognitive and behavioral responses to these situations. This study examines the relationship between health anxiety and intolerance to uncertainty in a non-clinical sample during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to demographic variables such as gender, age, being diagnosed with COVID-19, losing a relative due to the pandemic. The study sample consisted of 200 participants aged 18 to 65 years. The data collection instruments used in the study were the Personal Information Form, the Health Anxiety Scale (HAS), and the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS). In the context of the main purpose of the study, the relationship between health anxiety and intolerance to uncertainty was evaluated during the COVID- 19 pandemic. As the main purpose of the research, the relationship between health anxiety and intolerance to uncertainty level in the COVID-19 pandemic was evaluated. According to the results of the correlation analysis, a significant and positive relationship was found between the health anxiety level of the participants and the level of intolerance to uncertainty.
